Itinerary :
Day 1: Anchorage: Arrival in Anchorage and transfer to your hotel by shuttle or on your own. Anchorage is Alaska’s largest city, nestled between the Chugach Mountains and Cook Inlet. Offering an abundance of shopping, cultural attractions, and gourmet restaurants, Anchorage provides an excellent start to your vacation. Overnight stay in Anchorage.
Day 2: Anchorage–Seward (204 km/ 2.5hrs): Today you will pick up your car and will drive south to Seward. This scenic journey takes you along Turnagain Arm and into the glacier filled Kenai Mountains. When you arrive the rest of the day is at your leisure. Visit Alaska SeaLife Center or take part in other excursions offered (not included). Overnight stay in Seward.
Day 3: Seward: Spend a day touring the Seward area on your own. You can visit local attractions, such as Exit Glacier and the Alaska SeaLife Center aquarium, or add an optional tour, like a glacier hike, helicopter dog sledding, or a cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park (not included). Overnight stay in Seward.
Day 4: Seward–Talkeetna (384 km/ 5 hrs): This morning, you will head back north on the Seward Highway to Anchorage. Possible stops include the town of Girdwood or the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Anchorage is a great place to have lunch before continuing north to Talkeetna. This route takes you through the Matanuska Valley. Talkeetna is known as a starting point for Mt. Denali climbing expeditions. When the weather is clear, views of the Mountain are spectacular. Overnight stay in Talkeetna.
Day 5: Talkeetna–Denali (245 km / 3 hrs): Continuing to drive northward from Talkeetna to Denali. Your hotel will be at the park entrance, where most of the park services and hotels are located. Overnight stay in Denali park entrance area.
Day 6: Denali National Park: Today, enjoy approx. 4-6 hours bus tour into Denali National Park. The park is inhabited by many different animal species. With some luck, you may see bears, caribou, moose, sheep, wolves and a variety of birds. Mt. Denali might be seen if the weather is clear. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at Denali Park Entrance area.
Day 7: Denali–Anchorage (379 km/ 5hrs): Today enjoy your scenic drive back along the Parks Highway to Anchorage. Overnight stay in Anchorage
Day 8: Anchorage: Return your rental car and depart or start another program.

Upgraded program accommodation: Please note that not all places in Alaska offer a wide range and upgraded accommodation! Accommodation might still be considered on the lower end, yet we always try to book the best hotel/accommodation available. Car rental pick up will be on Day 02.
Driving Restrictions :
Car Rental Terms & Conditions Avis / Driving Force:
– Minimum Driver’s Age: 25 years of age.
– Driver’s License / Credit Card: Each driver needs to have/show a valid driver’s license and major credit card in his/her name. International driver’s licenses are not required.
– Pre-paid credit cards typically are not accepted. Depending on the car rental company, clients credit card may be preauthorized for a certain amount as security deposit at time of car pick up.
– Fuel: Fuel is never included.
– Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) or Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in our packages. This coverage financially protects the renter against damage to the vehicle. Technically, this is not considered insurance by the rental agencies. It is a “self-insurance” where they hope the fees collected will balance out the costs they pay for vehicle damage. There may be a deductible and tires, glass/windshield damage might not be covered.
– (Basic) Liability insurance covering personal injury and property damage to others is also included. This is provided by the rental car company, and is mandatory by state/territory law. In the case of accident and serious injury, this insurance is only secondary insurance to the drivers own personal liability insurances.
– Additional driver: A second driver typically is not included in the rental rate. Additional driver fees vary by rental agency.
– GPS: It is available with Avis in Alaska only (not all stations). It is only available on a first come first service basis and cannot be pre-booked, however they typically have enough devices. Keep in mind that driving in Alaska and Yukon is easy. GPS is available with GoNorth

Cancellation Policy :
In case of cancellations, the following cancellation charges will be applicable:
Booking once confirmed: 10% of the package cost
Within 62 – 47 days prior to departure: 30% of the package cost
Within 46 – 33 days prior to departure: 60% of the package cost
Within 32 days prior to departure OR No Show: 100% of the package cost
