Itinerary :

Day 1: Christchurch: Welcome to the island nation of New Zealand! You will arrive at Christchurch, the city that set between the deep blue Pacific Ocean and the mighty snow-capped Southern Alps. This is a vibrant, ever-changing city with inner city parks and gardens delightfully interwoven by the meandering Avon River. Collect your rental vehicle and self drive to hotel & check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore this vibrant city on your own. Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 2: Christchurch – Tekapo/Mt Cook Region: Today depart from Christchurch to a scenic wonderland with golden tussocks, snow-capped mountains and turquoise lakes. At Lake Tekapo lap up the fresh air and sparling skies in this International Dark Sky Reserve. Enjoy Dark Sky Experience which will forever change the way you see the night sky. Overnight in Tekapo or Mt Cook Region.

Day 3: Tekapo/Mt Cook Region – Queenstown: Enjoy the breathtakingly expansive scenery of ice and rock that features numerous enormous peaks, including New Zealand’s highest mountain. After that, follow the stunning Lake Pukaki shoreline as you make your way to Queenstown via the historic Central Otago region. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 4: Queenstown – Milford – Queenstown: Today’s breathtaking drive passes mirror lakes, magnificent waterfalls, and water-sculpted rocks. Explore Milford Sound, a New Zealand treasure carved by ice age glaciers that is famously described as the eighth wonder of the world. After a big day out, reflect on memories of a lifetime on your return to Queenstown. Overnight stay in Queenstown.

Day 5: Queenstown: A free day to explore the magnificent vistas and majestic mountains that dominates this compact alpine resort town, with such an expansive natural physical environment it is not surprising that Queenstown has been described as the Adventure Capital of the World. Overnight in Queenstown

Day 6: Queenstown-Christchurch: Today drive towards the northern part through the powerful landscape of the Central Otago region and the dramatic scenery of the Mackenzie region to Christchurch. Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 7: Christchurch: Your tour concludes today with the return of your rental car to Christchurch Airport.
