Itinerary :

Day 1: Auckland: Welcome to New Zealand! You’ll arrive in the largest city in New Zealand that is set between two harbors with gentle sandy shores on the east coast and black sand, wild surf beaches on the west coast. Get transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle & check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 2: Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua: Today depart Auckland on a fully guided journey through the stunning Waikato countryside to Waitomo Caves. Here enjoy your guided tour, where you will explore its many different cave formations including stalactites, stalagmites and lime columns, before descending even further underground for a cruise on the grotto river, gliding scilently through the stary wonderland with thousands of glowworms glittering above your head. Your journey then continues on to the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua. Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 3: Rotorua: Today visit the highlights of Rotorua starting with a visit to Rotorua Lakefront and Sulphur Point before a stroll through the beautiful Government Gardens. Wander through the geothermal Kuirau Park, to view the bubbling mud pools. Venture into Ohinemutu, the traditional Maori village and walk through the Redwood Forest at your own leisure. Return to the hotel in Rotorua. Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 4: Rotorua-Hobbiton-Auckland: Depart Rotorua and embark on a guided tour to the Hobbiton Movie Set, a working farm that was transformed into The Shire from Middle-Earth for the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit movies. Your guide will escort you around the set, pointing out intricate detailing, highlighting the most famous locations and explaining how the movie was made. Finish with a visit to the Green Dragon Inn for a beverage and a sumptuous lunch at the Party marquee before heading on to Auckland. Overnight in Auckland. (L)

Day 5: Auckland: Your tour concludes today with a departure transfer to Auckland Airport for your flight to next destination.
